Hayfield Stages of Learning

Hayfield has created its own stages of learning adapted from both the Early Years and National Curriculum outcomes. Children at Hayfield move at their own pace throughout the stages and their Maths lessons are adapted to the stage that they are working at. The stages have been developed in two areas: Number and Shape, Space and Measure. Each unit of work has a progression sheet for each stage to ensure the children learn the smaller steps needed to achieve the larger outcomes at each stage.
